Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Providing comprehensive and expert services for patients with significant respiratory and physical dysfunction, Youville Hospital's pulmonary and ventilator weaning program is directed by Dr. Christopher Fanta from Brigham and Women's Hospital. With daily pulmonary and intensivist consultation from Brigham & Women's Pulmonary and Critical Care Division, and with on-site access to a full spectrum of related services, patients receive an exceptional level of treatment.

Occupational and physical therapists provide energy conservation and remobilization, while our social service, psychiatric and pastoral care teams address the psychological effects of chronic respiratory disease that are often experienced by patients and their families.
